This section is kinda corney so I’ll keep it simple and easy. I’m an artist. I do both digital and traditional artworks but recently got more into 3d printing and painting custom miniatures. I had gotten into the book series Wings of Fire recently and saw how large the fandom is, but how there was barely any official merchandise for the series. I personally think it’s very important for kids and young adults who are so into series that they make their own characters (or often called OCs, which means “original character”) to be able to have a fully realized piece of artwork of their own character(s). Ones they can hold and use as reference, perhaps for other characters or even other dragons. Ones that maybe in the future, when and if they choose to have children of their own they can inspire them to peruse artwork, or perhaps read the series for themselves? I try to keep them as cheap as I can for younger members of the fandom as to not have to beg their parents for too much money to purchase a primes blank or even a custom. It’s very important in my opinion for them to be able to have that opportunity. When I was younger, I would have been so happy to have something such as this for my own characters. My pricing is almost entirely based on how much it costs to make them and very, very little more. While I have had many people come to me and tell me that I should charge just a bit more, I really feel that it is important to keep these as cheap as I possibly can for them. That being said, do NOT expect others who have small businesses to follow my own beliefs regarding my products. People charge what they believe they are worth and that is 100% okay. My prices are subject to change as is with all things. I do not price myself to be competitive or anything like that, I just really believe in what I stand for with these particular products.
